Vintage square furoshiki wrapping cloth of golden ocher background color, single side print (clear front and ‘faded’ back). On the left side a few individual vases against the golden brown background. On the right side a white, vertical band with numerous horizontal and vertical rows of vases and amphoras and rosettes, which are decorated with different motifs that only repeat themselves irregularly.

100% acetate, in imitation of silk. Very popular material in the 1960s and 1970s.

Tag with the Mitsukoshi department store logo. Japan, 1970s.

28 x 28 inches.

Very good condition, folding creases from storage, never used.

Can be used as scarf or table cloth.

The colors in the photos are not 100% correct, but we tried to come as close as possible.
