Small statue of a kneeling demon, oni (two small horns on its head) clad in a loin cloth, holding over its head a large jar engraved with four cartouches containing a flower or plant: hibiscus, gourd, camellia(?) and plum blossom. Cast bronze with brown patination (cast in three parts).
The statue can be used as an incense burner. It has been used in the past as a candle holder, wax remnants on the inside and rim of the jar.

Few scratches and tiny dings on the edge of the jar, candle wax remnants inside the jar. All in all in excellent condition. Bottom plate filled up with resin.
