Porcelain sake cup in the shape of a bowl with the central area raised and slightly domed. In the center in black, gold and blue enamel karakusa (arabesques). Quasi from underneath the roundel grow bush clovers (hagi), small blue asters and pink and light green hibiscus. These are all flowers that bloom in the late summer and early fall. The rim is covered in gold.

 

On the outside in underglaze cobalt blue two ruyi mushrooms growing near a rock formation, and a short poem.

 

Inside the foot ring a Kutani mark in underglaze blue.
