Shallow sakazuki sake cup, arabesques, chrysanthemums, stoneware, Ogata Kenzan style, Japan

Small sakazuki sake cup of irregular rounded shape and slightly warped. Thin stoneware covered with thinly applied translucent glaze, over which a pattern of arabesques in over-glaze blue glaze and gold, clouds in white enamel and chrysanthemums on a ball in red and white enamels and gold. The outside of the cup decorated with clouds in white overglaze enamel.
